Restaurant painting

Never miss a service

A closed dining room costs you money every night. We paint on your dark days and overnight, keep odor down and leave the room clean enough to open. Kitchen and service areas get the washable finishes they need.

What to plan for

What matters in a restaurant

01

Food safety first

Food areas need surfaces that clean easily, and the Minnesota Food Code sets the rules for licensed kitchens. If your inspector has flagged a wall or ceiling, show us the note and we will quote to it.

02

Odor control

Paint smell and food do not mix. We use low-odor coatings and time the work so the room can air out before the first guests sit down.

03

Grease and smoke

Paint will not stick to grease. Kitchen walls and ceilings near cooking lines get properly degreased and primed before any new coat goes on.

04

Tables and booths

We cover or move furniture, booths and bar stock, then put everything back so your team can set up as normal.

Juan and his crew painted our living room/kitchen, and the hallway/atrium on 1st and second floors. Even though the existing paint was 20 years old, Juan matched it perfectly. The crew arrived on time, to the minute, both days. We had just replaced all our carpet the week before, and when the painters were done, not a drop on the carpet. We'd hire them again in a minute.

Juan and his entire team did a wonderful job for us! They repainted our stucco two story duplex and garage. Their work quality was outstanding, pricing was very fair and reasonable, and they completed the full exterior home painting project in a timely manner as well. You can tell Juan is a business owner who really cares.

After a house fire, our 1929 era home required major rebuilding. Lakeview's team made sure that every detail was accounted for, inside and out. They took time to discuss what we wanted and then delivered. We highly recommend Lakeview Paintworks to our friends and family!

Questions

Restaurant painting questions

All commercial painting
Do we have to close to get painted?

Usually not. We work on your closed days and overnight, one area at a time, so you can keep your normal service.

Will the dining room smell of paint?

We use low-odor coatings and time the last coat so the room has a chance to air out before guests arrive.

Can you paint kitchen walls and ceilings?

Yes. Kitchen areas are degreased and primed first, then finished with a washable coating. If your health inspector or landlord requires a specific product, we will price it into the estimate.

How do you protect tables and bar stock?

We cover or move them before work starts, and put everything back at the end of each shift.

Can you repaint before a new concept opens?

Yes. Tell us your opening date and which contractors are on site, and we will fit the paint around them.
