How long does an exterior repaint last?
With proper prep and quality paint, a well-done exterior commonly lasts many years. Sun exposure, siding type and how the previous coat was applied all play a part.
What prep is included?
Pressure cleaning, caulking cracks and nail holes, pushing popped nails back by hand, scraping and priming peeling or bare wood, and masking windows, doors, brick and stone.
Do you paint brick and stucco?
Yes. Unpainted brick gets a masonry primer first, and stucco is sprayed with a light backroll so the paint works into the texture.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can get to the outside of the house and you have moved items away from the walls, you can go about your day.
